Texstar posted an announcement on 8/22/2010 that we would see the kernels soon for download to correct security issues outstanding for quite some time. Any idea when those will be available? I have searched and only found 2.6.33.7-pclos1... (and others, but all -pclos1, not -pclos2)

Are the updated kernels possibly not on all servers yet or could I be missing something in how I search Synaptic? Probably something silly on my part.

I had been checking the repos the last day or two and not seeing it, but I just ran Synaptic and it shows up for me now.  Just installed it, so should be running it after I reboot.

I'd suggest you reload the repo and check again - I'm using http://ftp.jaist.ac.jp/pub/Linux/PCLinuxOS/apt/ for what it's worth.

Thanks!!! I just updated, searched for the new kernel and saw it available. Up and running on the new BFS kernel. And I noticed the login and splash screens are different....interesting :)
