Live CD seems to Boot fine to desktop, then after a short period eg 30 seconds (when network and audio is up, and all desktop icons are shown) it self logs out, then shows the login screen again. If I log in as root there is nothing shown on desktop. Have burnt the 2010 KDE twice, checked it by 'media check', and verified it against ISO all checks out ok.
KDE is my preference to Gnome, and this distro is the best so far; but it seems not happy with my hardware after its got to desktop stage. I've tried safe boot, and variations to no avail.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Alistair.

I'm having this same issue with Zen-Mini version downloaded today. Any reason why this might be happening?

Thanks,

Bobby

Apologies I cant for the life of me recall what I did to fix it. Maybe I just used the CD and installed it instead of using livecd, whatever its going fine now.

No Sweat. I selected the VESA boot instead and it came up and I was able to install it. The installer stopped responding (30 min inactivity) after I selected to use the entire HD, so I had to use gparted to clean the drive first, then the installer ran fine.

Thanks!

What's not easy about right clicking the PC icon and selecting Menu Editor?
