I have lost 'Show desktop icon' in the panel. How to bring it back ?  ???

Right click the panel, left clieck panel, options then add widgets, scroll through
list until you see show desktop, then double click widget to add it to the panel.

Thanks for reply. If I double click the icon in add widgets it show up on the desktop but I want it to be in the panel.

It sounds like youre right clicking on the desktop rather than on the panel. Reread and try again, Follow hals directions and it should put it in your panel.
