Let us know the results  ;)

I don't find directly such a layer to add to a photograph, maybe I have to search harder  ;)
(or there's link posted here - I hope so!)

Thank you very much, djohnston ;)
The first JPG represents a hole in the glass an they'd hardly believe it. I'm looking for a crack(s) only :D

Now I'll check your Google search. :)

P.S. There is a plenty of them, thanks! Surely I'll pick one and put it on their wallpapers! <demonic laugh> ;D

Can't wait to hear how your practical joke went!

May be day or two.
I'll just put my web and wait for reactions in silence. ;)

Could you point me how to find which wallpaper file is currently in use?
I have in my /home/uncleV/.kde4/share/wallpapers two files but they aren't the current, that was the previous wallpaper.
May be they are put somewhere else after the recent big KDE changes?

Look in /usr/share/wallpapers. I'm pretty sure that's where the standard ones are kept.

Thank you!

Both mine and daughter's are not of the standard pack.
But I think I found where the information on wallpapers files picked by the user is stored. In KDE it is in
/tmp/kdecache-<user>/plasma-wallpapers/<the path of the chosen image>

Yeah.  I found the broken glass wallpaper on www.deviantart.com  They have a lot of really cool ones there.  I think I gave them a few bucks for the broken glass one.  I spend hours on there sometimes looking through the stuff.  They have awesome wallpapers there.
