Well thanks.  Not very often I hit one out of the park. 

If I'm so smart then why do I smack myself daily for buying that stupid phone in the first place. It really is the worst phone ever.

I haven't used it in quite a while and afaik it isn't in the repo. I only ever transfer one or two files so I've not bothered playing around with it.

I'll give VLC a look, but just ran into a bump in the road. I installed OBEX ftp on the desktop and the phone isn't accessible.
