Strange KDE wallpaper problem.
« on: August 11, 2010, 02:02:56 AM »
I'm running kde 4.4.5 right now. If I get wallpapers using the desktop settings tool, I can only install one at a time. If I install more at once, then only the first wallpaper would be present in the menu where you can select the wallpaper. The rest won't be there at all. They are still shown as 'installed' when I start the get new wallpapers thing again.

Didn't download more than one wallpaper at a time so can't say.
May be there's a special option for multi?

No, all I have to do is clicking "Get more/?new wallpapers", then I can select e.g. sort on highest rated, and then I can go through them, installing whichever wallpaper I want (sometimes 20 pieces of them); but I have to say it's now about 2 months ago I used it, and at that time, some of the wallpapers I clicked "install", didn't show up in the possible wallpapers where I can choose from (I thought I didn't click it well, or didn't wait long enough (slow internet connection), but yeah....)
