(Solved) thunar crashing

I've tried to open or delete .jpg files in thunar and when I hover mouse over the .jpg file thunar crashes before I can right or left click. Its only with .jpg files as far as I can tell. don't think it's anything to do with the picture file because I can open mtpaint or shutter and they'll open from the menu. Below is the output from terminal when opening thunar:

$ thunar

Are you fully updated?  I got an update to thunar today from PASS.
