Tweakin' "finish-install" script
« on: July 30, 2010, 12:43:28 PM »
Hi guys,
I'm hoping that you can help me figure out how to tweak the "finish-install' script.  I'm looking to have the EULA license appear as well as have other prompt windows (such as language, keyboard type, 3D support, etc) not appear/not appear when the the installation process is finished.  I remember in the past tweaking the "finish-install" text file.  Similar to the one in /etc/draklive-install.d.  Changing the settings from "no" to "yes" on each line would enable or disable the item during the end of installation scripts.  For some reason this won't work the way I remember it working.   Any ideas or knowledge on this would be much appreciated.

I really can't help you in what you are asking, because it is over my head.  So why comment?

I really dig your handle.  Gets me hungry just seeing it.... ;D

PCLinuxOS does not have a Eula.
The type of keyboard, by language, is chosen on boot up of the liveCD.

Thanks guys,
The EULA is there.  In past this stuff was "switched" on or off by a text file.  That fine resides in PCLOS 2010.7 in /etc/draklive-install.d   The EULA in PCLOS is still there in /usr/lib/libDrakX and the file is called "message.pm"  it's just not being triggered.
