I do not know about the other OS's but in PCLinuxOS,
1. Make sure that printerdrake is installed in synaptic. (If using the minime version, it will not be there.)
2. Open PCC (Configure your printer) and click on Hardware.
3. Click on the Printer related icon. As it opens it looks for printers but it may not find any. If this is the case...
4. Click on "Add Printer" and make sure that the "Auto-detect printers connected to the local network" is selected.
It should be found then and it will ask you more questions.
