<Solved> Can't share folders between PcLinuxOs machines
« on: July 30, 2010, 05:54:49 AM »
Hello everybody,
I've installed a couple of PcLos systems at work, sharing the local network with several Win Xp machines. I configured samba like this http://www.pclinuxos.com/wiki/index.php/Samba_Setup, but I created the user nobody as a samba user, with no pasword in order to make available the shared folder to everybody in the office. The issue is that I can access from any Windows computer to my shared folder in PcLinux, it's really slow but it works. The problem is that I can't access the same way from the other PcLinux machine, it asks me for a user and a password. I did the same with two Mandriva Pc's (before installing PcLinux) and it worked fine, it didn't ask me for any user between linux machines.
Am I missing something?

Sorry everyone, I realized I had missed one step from the wiki. I reconfigured the network configuration and everything works fine.

Juangg,

It's customary to edit the topic of your original post to say [SOLVED].
