Install fails

Hi

Am trying to install PCLinuxOS 2010 LXDE on an old box with a7n8x de luxe motherboard and having 768 MB ram. Then during the process a pup up
says error and asking me if  FAM or GAMIN is installed  ???

Hi

I succeeded to reach grub installation in this dual boot harddrive installation. But when I boot the screen hanging when reaching the wallpaper. - No icons, no panel. Win XP booting ok.  ???

Do you have on-board graphics on that system? Intel, maybe?

When you get to the desktop and have no wallpaper or icons, and the gamin / fam error shows up, logout, then login again. This happens, especially on the liveCD, with my old p4 with onboard intel graphics. The problem is with the graphics not being fully loaded before the desktop is loaded. The logout  -- login has always corrected this for me.
