PClinuxOS 2010 KDE fully updated C-Media 18738 sound card.
I am unable to record/capture PCM sound. Although playback from all sources is ok.
I can record perfectly from Line in, Synth, Aux and CD.
All I get when trying to record from PCM is low level white noise. Have tried a number of apps including Adobe Audition in wine but still the same problem.
(I also have the same problem on another machine using an Creative SB Live! soundcard but not to worried about that one for now)
