repair original installation of pclinuxos 2010

hi!

i have installed new version of kde pclinuxos 2010 but something went wrong with display setting ( new display settings couldn't be saved) and now i can't boot to the gui version, is there a way to repair the original installation without reinstalling the system?

Does it boot to a command line and ask for a login ?

If it does, enter your root user - then your root password - then type XFdrake - then hit enter
and then you can set up your graphics from there.
