I am trying to synchronise the data from a Garmin Edge 705 with My Tour Book (
http://mytourbook.sourceforge.net). I can access (USB port) the data via the file system from Dolphin or import it from within Tour Book. However the synchronisation doesn't work.
For synchronisation, a serial port has to be selected. The instructions say for Linux "Select the serial port which starts with the name /dev/tty or which contains the name usb ". However, the option to select any port is disabled, indicating that My Tour Book doesn't see the device. I did a "modprobe garmin_gps", but that didn't help either. Nothing listed under the modprobe blacklist either that I can see.
Any suggestion would be helpful. Thanks.
