If I change the speed dial page search engine to google, then type something in and hit enter, nothing happens. If I change it back to the default bling, it will work.

I've logged out and back in, do I need to reboot?

Anyone else seen this?

check the details for the google option. maybe something is missing.
try setting google as the default for speed dial and see if that works.

Haha! Found the fix:

1. Go to google, right-click on the search field and select "Create search...".
2. Click "Details" and copy the whole "Address".
3. Goto to the speed dial page and click on the search engine icon.
4. Click on "Manage Search Engines"
5. Highlight the google search engine and select "edit"
6. Click on details and paste the copied address to the address field.
7. Hit ok, ok
5. Done

For me, the address came out as:
Code: [Select]
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=%s&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=
