Look for (search) Chromium-browser in Synaptic. That will install it for you with one click (so to say).

Yup, you should find it in menu > Internet > Chromium browser

You are a joy to help.  I love your screenshots. :)

Yes, right click on that then click on Install then Apply, then another apply.

Wait, depends on how fast is your download speed, and if its already installed just look for it at the menu under Internet.

I would also suggest for you to Search and Install via Synaptic all other linux software that you may be of interest in the future.

If it is not in Synaptic, then you can actually request it. :)

And oh, while you are it... why don't you click on Mark All Upgrades, then Apply, then another Apply.

The preferred is you click on Reload, then Mark all Upgrades (if there is any), Apply... and install what other software you need. :)

If you can't see it in KMenu > Internet > Chromium Browser try  reinstalling it in Synaptic.

If that doesn't work you can run it from the Konsole:

# chromium-browser <press enter>

If its not in your main KMenu try and get it back by right clicking on it (KMenu) and choose Menu Editor >
Edit > Restore To System Menu > and press to accept.

Edit: as a rule its generally not a good idea to install apps from outside of the repo's - they may work but equally could bork your system (if not immediately, somewhere down the line)

I think williamb's point is that he actually has installed Chromium but would also like to test Google's own version, while most posters in this thread are aware of the fact that Chromium in PCLinuxOS and Google Chrome are almost indistinguishable, apart from the colour of the logo.

For other possible differences see: http://code.google.com/p/chromium/wiki/ChromiumBrowserVsGoogleChrome. The main difference, however, is that the version of Chromium in the repository has been tested on PCLinuxOS.

And, williamb, if you are concerned about your privacy, try out the Iron browser instead. It's also more or less the same thing.
