KDE 3.5 Minime 2009 fully updated.
I have a Belkin USB video/audio capture device but can't connect to it for some reason.
I want to be able to record video/audio and transfer/digitize all my old VHS movies. Have tried all the
usual apps from VLC upwards but no device is detected??.
I'm missing something obvious I know it..
The device is installed and in PCC as:
Identification
Vendor: Belkin Components
Description: USBView II Video Adapter [nt1004]
Media class: (Defined at Interface level)
Connection
Bus: USB
Bus PCI #: 2
PCI device #: 2
Vendor ID: 0x050d
Device ID: 0x0208
Sub vendor ID: 0x0000
Sub device ID: 0x0000

Module: usbvision
Modprobe usbvision and lsmod | grep usbvision show the correct module to be loaded.
Have also tried running it on a KDE4 install and it locks the machine up solid forcing a skinny elephant !!.
