My next hurdle on the road to my setting up PClinuxos 2010 is this ..

When I plug in a USB thumb drive , Nothing Happens ?

I'm not too sure what I am doing wrong , any ideas Please

More information is needed. Which DE are you using? KDE? LXDE? Gnome? XFCE? OpenBox?
Further info may be needed, but lets start with that.

Hi, I am using ( or trying to use ) PCLinuxos 2010 KDE and the Thumb driver is a 16 GB version formatted to FAT32

When you plug in your USB thumb drive, look on the panel over between your volume icon and clock. There should be a new icon that looks like a monitor with the USB symbol on it. Click the icon and when the notification opens, put your mouse cursor over the entry and it will hold for you to click the small icon to the right of the entry to open the thumb drive in your file browser. Using the same procedure, you can unmount the drive when finished.
