I wanna now which one you prefer in the current state.
Which one has a better excel alike?

from a compatibility point there is no choice is openoffice or wine running ms office 2007/10

koffice won't play nicely with most files from other office suites

creating files is another story, koffice is very good but if you have used openoffice you won't like koffice, my opinion is that it works very similarly to ms office 2003 and i don't like ms office

OpenOffice 3.2 Calc hands down is the better spreadsheet software.

Agreed: koffice spreadsheet is not ready for primetime.
