I believe some applications were dropped and a couple of others added. You would have to know which ones.

I always add my favorite applications and remove the ones I don't want, Chromium over Firefox, Claws over Thunderbird, VI over EMACS. OK, the last one is just me being an ass.

In any case, I don't think there is one file like a "TASK-UPDATE-LXDE" to change it over all at once.

I also don't change kernels unless i have too. I believe in "if it works, don't fix it!"

If it works fix until it breaks!!  ;D
I shall pass this way but once;
any good therefore that I can do,
or any kindness that I can show
let me not defer nor neglect it,
for I shall not pass this way again.

If you are wanting the new default apps, look at the list included in the announcement --
http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php/topic,75689.0.html

Use Synaptic Search to find and install them.
