[SOLVED] Lose Sound After Each Shutdown

I have a Dell Vostro 1500.  Each time I shutdown and reboot the computer I must go into the KMix configure menu and drag and drop the speakers from available channels to visible channels in order to get sound from my speakers.  I have two other PCLOS dual booted laptops (Toshiba notebook and Samsung netbook) and I do not have that problem with either of those computers.  Any idea of the solution?

I installed GMixer and now the problem is solved.

I have a similar problem, but I lose sound and video after I shutdown!   :o  They don't come back until I boot up again.  Weird!
