"root konsole" on dt6 and stay there!!!

describes a procedure that allows user to flip to open konsoles including "super user" style with minimal effort in selected desktop. This need arises from the novelty of typing su and password rather often.  That was valid in my 2009 system but now waltzing with 2010 I thought I will soon copy that.

A little relaxing exercise for me not as simple as I thought.  The attached picture shows how I have managed to figure out how to change the icon for super user terminal by using k-menu editor (right click PC and follow your nose). I picked a green background with a ? mark, should just be visible in the picture.

Then I add this new konsole to the panel and I thought I had managed.  However when I click root konsole in the panel I do get a new root konsole but general konsole picture.

1.. old-polack if you come past, how have you now set up your system?
2.. Will it be possible to differentiate normal/root konsole icons

When I click on my konsole in the Panel shown in picture in previous post I get the konsole opening int the dt [desktop] I am presently in. Now I have decided I want konsole and root konsole to open in dt6 whenever I click on them, from anyone of the 6 dts I use.

I must be going wrong somewhere or staring myself blind on the solution. I have been through the Top Menubar>Advanced>Special Window Setting>Desktop dot and various combinations on the drop down menu that becomes available, like Remember, Force but have not had luck so far it is almost right. (Also tried same for Top Menubar>Advanced>Special Applications Settings)

I can get it to work until I log out and back in again.  When I come back in again the applications will open in the dt I am presently in.

old-polack has shown two pictures and it is clear that he has set desktop entry to the same in both I think this may have been my problem getting confused with what I have had set. Setting identical in both seems to have fixed my problem. konsoles open in dt6 and Kate sessions open in dt4

Now how do I get them autostarting?
