Hi all,
I have a problem with UPSD (the nut daemon for the purpose of monitoring my APC ups).
I have it configured to start at boot, but when I log into my desktop knutclient complains that it cannot connect to the ups. Upon inspection of the syslog, I see upsd tries to start but immediately exits. It only says something like "upsd connecting... upsd not connected" and then it dies. If I start it manually (as root) it works perfectly till the next boot.
I think it could be a timing problem, but I don't know how to fix it... maybe introducing a delay? but how?
My UPS is connected through a serial cable directly to the PC.
Any idea?
