ATi Catalyst Control Center Problems <SOLVED>

I have downloaded CCC and can open the normal window, but cannot open the superuser mode.  It will  ask fro root password, then nothing will open.  I know I'm leaving things out, but if the questions are asked, then I will answer them.  thanks, Please help.

You need to advise what PCLinuxOS you are running. Is this download from the repo's ?  Have you logged out and back in again? Being graphics related it often needs a reboot or desktop restart.

Try running it from a Konsole and posting any error messages.

running pclos2010

going through the konsole worked, but going through run program will not work.

It just wont open the gui from run program.
