(Install) Unable to mount hdd

Hi everyone, I'm new on PClinuxos and I have a problem....

I want to Install this on a hdd in fat32, but when I click on erase all the hdd and install Pclinuxos in DrakerINstall,
few minutes later he says he can't mount sda1 in mnt/install

I don't understant because I also can't mount my hdd in the file manager but the command fdisk -l reconize him (my hdd)

You can't install to a fat32 formatted partition.

I know but I choose the setup who erase my hdd in fat32 and partion a liknux system (ext3 and swap), but installer can't mount my hdd

Did you actually create the partitions, then format them, before trying to mount them? One can't mount an unformatted partition, ever.

Ok so I try with an other distribution and resulte is the same


fdisk recognise the hdd but don't show the partition

Start your live-cd,
click Install PCLinuxOS to your HD...
=> go to Custom Disk Partitioning: create and format your partitions manually and try to open them after that (is possible in the same window, maybe (not sure) you have to select "expert" mode....
