« on: June 21, 2010, 01:10:42 PM »
Hello,
sorry for my english
hoping to write it correctly,
i have read the forum rules, and my problems
regarding dual monitor on my laptop fujitsu v5535 have the sis chipset,
i have installed the PclinuxOs gnome latest release,
all work fine and i give thanks for this to the developers
my only problems is how to have extended desktop on dual monitor,
i'm a newbye in linux system and in this days before writing to the forum
i'have read the xorg doc--and xrandr doc.
But my knowledgment are inadeguate,
actually the video driver work great 1280x800,
but my second screen connected on VGA port show only a cloned desktop.
I have tried to change the xorg.conf--but nothing
tried to run xfdrake but nothing
i post the lspci log , the xrandr -q and the XORG.CONF
no VGA port was detected in xrandr,...i'm hoping some one can help me
