« on: June 13, 2010, 11:53:17 PM »
Is "LiveCD make" a kde program! I have tried to start it, but without success. I see that "make LiveCD" installed in package manager, but where on earth you get this program up! I am running Gnome.

In 2010 mylivecd is used. See http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php/topic,74418.0.html

If you're seeing mklivecd, you must be using 2009.

Thanks, now I have a live dvd of 2.4 gigabytes with my setup. And dvdn worked.

But if I was going to have to restore the system, how do I use my live dvd to restore back to what is on my dvd!

Does anyone know this!

I use 2010 :D

The liveDVD you create is installable in the same manner as the official liveCD. In a terminal type draklive-install and type <Enter> The installer will start.

Now I tested this on the second hard disk, and this worked satisfactorily. Very clever system, and very handy backup. I thank you so much for all your help. Yes, I'm sitting here and are very satisfied. Now I feel that pclos has become considerably safer for me.
