When will PCL offer the KDE 4.5 update?
« on: June 12, 2010, 06:15:10 PM »
After installing PCL 10.1 with the latest updates a few days ago, I am finding a number of things that do not work correctly (things that worked fine on my previous PCL version 9 system).  When I have inquired at the KDE forum about some of these KDE related matters, I have received several responses saying that the things that I am reporting as not working have been "fixed" with KDE version 4.5.

So, is there any prognosis for when PCL might include KDE 4.5 in the Synaptic repository?

Or, is it safe and recommended (or not recommended) to install a KDE 4.5 update from KDE (or some other source)?
