[SOLVED] No Sound From Speakers on Samsung NC 10 Netbook
« on: June 11, 2010, 01:35:22 PM »
I successfully installed PCLOS 2010 on a Samsung NC 10 Netbook.  The problem is that there is no sound coming from the speakers when playing You Tube videos.  Oddly, there is sound when I plug in the headphones. Does anyone know the solution to this issue?

open mixer (lower right hand corner-right click)>mixer>settings>configure channels> be sure speaker is a configured channel and turned all the way up and nothing is muted ... this worked for me.

I will add this to the main HOW-TO for the NC10
PCLinuxOS has no wealthy sponsors and can only survive with your donations! Don't wait it might be too late.

Thanks davecs, for your efforts with these tiny little PC's. Many times I've drawn on the resources you've provided, most times in a panic, and I forget to say ta.
