SOLVED: No sound with remaster

Hi
When I make a remaster the sound works on start up and shut down, but will not work on things like Apple trailers, or BBC iPlayer.
Does anyone know why? as it is really starting to annoy me.

OK now I feel silly.
When you log in for first time to a remaster, you have to make a new user, and in the new user everything works perfectly, the only problem is you have to set up your desktop again.
My problem is I have been trying to use the old user, O Well we live and learn.
