Ecomorph?
« on: June 08, 2010, 07:50:12 PM »
Ok... I don't think I'm the first person to ask so don't bite my head off  ::)

Can anyone tell me how to put Ecomorph onto E17? I think it would be really neat to have...
I tried following the instructions  http://code.google.com/p/itask-module/wiki/Stuff but the autogen.sh runs into errors

Any help would be nice :)

See this screenshot thread for OnlyHuman's posts. I'd like to know how he did it, too.

Here's his screenshot:

So it can be done!

See I've been trying to follow the directions on the link I posted and when I get to the ./autogen.sh I get this output

[lee@localhost ecomorph]$ ./autogen.sh && make && sudo make install
Running autopoint...
./autogen.sh: line 8: autopoint: command not found
Running aclocal...
./autogen.sh: line 9: aclocal: command not found
[lee@localhost ecomorph]$ cd ecomorph
bash: cd: ecomorph: No such file or directory

Any ideas?

Maybe if we get scoundrel to swing his hammer, OnlyHuman will give up his secrets!

Seriously, though, I've done some "unauthorized" compiles a few times in the past. I usually have no problem with it. Except, my e17 desktop is my main box and I really don't want to bork it. e17 is already "bleeding-edge", you know?

Why don't we do this? Get in contact with OnlyHuman and see what package he compiled from. I'll bet it's the OpenSuse one from github. See this page: http://en.opensuse.org/Ecomorph

If we know where to start, we could put in a package request. Waddya think?

Man, I forgot to post the thread I saw. http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php/topic,73956.msg608283.html#msg608283

Why don't you PM him? Go to the above link, find one of his posts, click on the username, etc.
