I have a similar problem, Kaffeine detects my USB device Zarlink ZA10353 DVB-T and has successfully downloaded the scan data for my region but the channel search yields no results even though the signal strength is ok and a 'Tuned' lock is shown.
Yesterday I updated it. Today it has stopped working completely in DVB mode with similar output to yours..
Most disappointing. Kaffeine was a great and probably the most user friendly DVB app but it seems to have been wrecked.
It doesn't even seem to support network broadcasting any longer and the configuration available is grossly inadequate..
It would be interesting to know if it is possible to roll back to an earlier version with KDE4. The version running on my KDE 3 boxes is flawless.
