I have a question for anyone out there that has experience with VGN series laptops and PCLos. Being designed for windows Vista when I downgraded to XP the drivers for many devices no longer functioned properly, mainly the Pioneer DVR-K17 DVD rw drive. Will 2010 support DVD burning with that particular drive? I would like to know this before I make the decision to wipe the entire system.

I have no experience with them, but why not try it yourself,
make e.g. a LiveUSB (with UnetBootin for example) , run it, and try to burn a DVD!!!
Need more info, ask it!
