Success!

I tried as was previously mentioned.  Went in root to:
/usr/share/autostart/ and removed the "klipper.desktop"

Rebooted and it is gone!  Thanks for everyone's help... :)

hmm... just tested on one of my kde4 installs and it works just fine right clicking and quit---do not restart

hmm... just tested on one of my kde4 installs and it works just fine right clicking and quit---do not restart

Like I said, in all my tweaking, I must of borked something.

I think my tweaking/borking did one other thing.  You know how you can drag a pic from within Dolpjin to the desktop, and click on "something wallpaper"...  That's gone too.  But when I do drag to the desktop, at the bottom of the frame it says "image".  I click on it, and the that is the background.  So life goes on... :)

Yes. can't live without it.  I often lift large text documents and drop same into an email.
Block it and drop it. wonderful!
