E17 won't load(SOLVED, disable compiz first)

a friend came to my house so i decided to show some eyecandy, after showing kde4 i decided to show him e17

i selected e17 in kdm and logged as my user, the e logo came for a second and then i was back to kdm

i don't know how to give more info to fix the problem

i see that other users had some minor problems updating e17 but nothing like this

Is Compiz enabled? If so, disable it.

 in pcc/hardware/configure 3d desktop effects/compiz fusion is enabled

it was enabled before this problem and it was working well, even when i loaded kde4 and then called e17 on another session

if i have to disable it, that is a problem

E17 cannot work with compiz enabled.

i was confused with autostart, i had for some time fusion-icon in autostart but then changed to pcc solution

that is why it was working before

i disabled compiz by running drak3d in kdm and could load e17, thank you!
