Command for "Lock Screen" [Solved]
« on: May 26, 2010, 12:46:40 PM »
Hi,

in the old days I used ctrl + alt + L to lock my screen.  I would like to assign that shortcut to my keyboard shortcuts.  However, I don't now what the cli command is for "lock screen".

If somebody could help me I would be very grateful.

... and in old longtom thread tradition I will answer myself.  Just remembered something from Gnome.  So I paraphrased it a little and it works.

The command in my case with xscreensaver as my screensaver is:

Code: [Select]
xscreensaver-command --lock
