Hi,
It looks like once it wants to work, once it doesn't want. Here are 2 relevant links to see what it's about:
*
LXDE - halevt - perform your predefined actions with hal-events ...*
halevt does not startIf trying to run it along with the lxde-halevt-additions, a few more people could test it and testify, that would be nice.
Last times I tried to start an audio CD, I expected xmms to start by itself, thanks yo halevt that should have detected the CD in the tray, but nothing special happened. (halevt is started at boot, from the services configured in pcc, /mnt/cdrom does exist and the halevt configuration file has the right block text in it).
That's why I thought I would like to ask a few more persons to come and see what they could find out about this ? (Out of any ivman or thunar-volman use... as halevt is supposed to be able to replace the first one which is not maintained anymore, and the second one that forces to install thunar at same time).
(I never listen to audio cd's, but as this feature is supposed to be working for the users who want to use it... )
Thanks,
Mélodie
