Install obconf. That is the 'configure openbox' in lxdecc. There are some openbox themes in the repos that can be used, too.

The quote above is from another thread, dated sometime in October 2009. Installing obconf is necessary for the "Configure Openbox" button in LXDE's control panel to work properly.
The question this begs is: Since this is known, and well identified, can someone on the maintenance team include obconf in the task-lxde task in Synaptic, or is there some reason we can't do this? It would certainly enhance new user experience with LXDE, making it more "radically simple".
