Creative Sound Blaster 5.1 VX card white sound problem with PCLinuxOS 2010

I am using Creative Sound Blaster 5.1 VX card . Sometimes it works perfectly with 2 channels. But most of the times only white sound will come. Please help. Thanks in advance.  :-[
