I like transparency in panel 1. If I load a theme with that particular icon, then click the show desktop icon, the icon becomes transparent, and is no longer selectable. Maybe the png has a transparent background?
The theme I'm running now is an older one, A-SBlack Blue, because the show desktop icon is usable.
The old and new themes are fully usable.
If a theme is not complete, automatically Enlightenment put the missing part the default theme.
In this particular case the problem is in the emodule deskshow.
The problem I think , When upgrading is a mixture of legacy applications that do not go well with the new version.

I think maybe you misunderstand what I'm saying. I'm not saying the themes are unusable. That is not the case at all. I only have problems with one particular icon, included in some of the themes, simply because I prefer an "invisible" panel.

The showdesktop icon does not function properly when using the invisible panel at this time so best to use the default panel.

I understand and agree. Linuxera asked for input somewhere in this thread, so I added mine. The reason I named the theme I'm using and included a clip of the show desktop icon included in that theme is that particular icon does work normally, even in an invisible shelf. I thought it would lend a clue. If no one else is experiencing this particular niggle, I will bow out gracefully.

I must have missed this one. We've had some power outages in the neighborhood. I'm glad the computers are on UPS.

No problem, Agust. I imagined that's what is was. I changed shelf1 back to default. I just got Synaptic updates and I see Tex has your new themes in place. I think your artwork is fantastic.
