[SOLVED] No Synaptic in KDE
« on: May 20, 2010, 08:29:46 PM »
After an update when I went to software center in menu Synaptic was not there but instead was replaced by Smart Package Manager. Synaptic is in /usr/bin but no where else. How do I get Synaptic back?

Open a terminal Konsole - su to root and type apt-get update and apt-get install synaptic

Thanks to everyone who donates. You keep the servers running.
