kernel-2.6.32.11-pclos2.bfs
I had lots of problems with the 2.6.32.X kernels on this machine. All the 2.6.33.x kernels have been both quick and stable. Try installing the newer one through Synaptic, and see if that doesn't help. Your present kernel will not be replaced, and will still be there if you wish to continue using it, after testing the newer one.
The first boot will be very slow, as all the dkms modules will have to be rebuilt for that kernel. Subsequent boots should be quite snappy.
