Analog TV Application for KDE4 ?
« on: May 18, 2010, 01:44:27 AM »
I just noticed that KdeTV is missing from repos and when i looked on google, it seems that there is no KdeTV for KDE4.
Someone mentioned LinTV but i couldn't find a link and it's not on repos.

Are there any Analog TV applications available on Kde4?
(Except Kaffeine, that is seriously a non-user friendly app)

No... not really... it is very difficult to understand for a new user... there are no menus, no way to control the program using a mouse.
It may be great for advanced users using old-fashion keyboard, but not for new-fashion mouse users  ::)

for a new user, especially one coming from the other side
it doesn't matter if it will have amazing image, if he can't figure out how to use it with a mouse  ;)

Sorry Freddyp, but that is not a user friendly application.
Even for me when i was on KDE 3.5, i never liked using it.

You might like it, but you can't claim it's new user friendly  ;)
