[-T-] addlocale (French)(improvements, to be checked)

Hi,
didiergm and CallMeAl have worked one after the other on the file. The po file is here as an attachment.

How can it be tested ? Directly in an install existing, and starting to run Addlocale : is that possible ?

Hi Melodie,

thanks for the update! To test it you could open the po-file with poedit, then save the po-file in poedit as "addlocale.po". This will create a new file "addlocale.mo". Copy this mo-file into "/usr/share/locale/fr/LC_MESSAGES/". Then, on a french localized system, start addlocale and you should see your new translations for the window messages in addlocale.
Once you are happy with the french translation please send me the addlocale.po file so it can be included into the addlocale srpm.

Hi,

While trying to save it to addlocale.po:

23:46:38: ~/addlocale.po:47:90: syntax error
23:46:38: ~/addlocale.po:47: keyword "n" unknown
23:46:38:~/addlocale.po:48: end-of-line within string
23:46:38: msgfmt: found 3 fatal errors

So it's of no use ?

I got the latest, created anew the po file from the french mo, and will copy past the texts to the french forum directly from Addlocale gui.

When we will be ok on what should be written to french I'll add the sentences in poedit and test it before giving it back.
