Any Very Old Repos Online?

I'm sure they were all closed down, but by chance are there any repos for the *old* versions, like .92?
I'm doing a coding experiment and I was wondering if some of those old packs are still online.

Try  http://archives.pclosusers.com There is some of the older stuff there.

Thanx. Seems the oldest RPMs that anyone has are for .93

For one, I'd like to get the codec for running mkv files. .92 will only play the audio part but the video won't display.

I'm thinking I could probably upgrade .92 to .93 and then use one of the 'newer' repos for files.

Now wait just a minute, am I looking at this right? Can I go to http://archives.pclosusers.com/2007-before-the-BU/2007/ and use this as a repo for pclinuxos 2007? This would be to good to be true, someone tell me I'm dreaming!  :o :o :o

God Bless you YouCanToo. This is by far my favorite era of pclinuxos history.  :)

So I have now installed 2007 from the live cd, and added the archived repository to synaptic. Everything worked great, until I  tried to upgrade. At that point, along with the upgrades, synaptic wanted to remove a large part of the system. Things such as k3b, amarok, emerald, gimp, and yes, even synaptic appeared on the remove list.  :)

Seems I remember years ago, when this happend, the fix was to just upgrade a few things at a time, until you finally got it all. Would this be correct?

I'm not extremely concerned with upgrading, but I can't seem to install anything either, which I believe is because the 2007 install is out of date, even with the archived repository. One example would be while trying to install nvidia_96xx, which returns the error:

nvidia_96xx:
 Depends: dkms-nvidia_96xx but it is not going to be installed


Ideas or suggestions?

The only MKV RPM I seem to have is   mkvtoolnix-1.5.0-2tex.i586.rpm sated Aug '06

.93 had its own section of the repository ..... I suspect I have a snapshot of the (2004) repo about April '07 before the release of 2007 which required a new installation.
