[Solved] Need to replace Windows Live Writer,

With Windows i use Windows Live Writer to write my blog and post it after it's finish, what would be the best program it with PCLinux....

you might try Blogilo. It is in Synaptic.

Problems with Blogilo, i cannot have it recognise my blog, always error with faild ID and internet connection. I tried to search for an answer with Google but nothing helpful righth now...any idea!!!

while you await a solution, you could try kate, or even kwrite.  then do a cut and paste to your blog.

I can also use Open Office Writer and cut and paste the blog or write it directly in it. Didn't find any solution on the web yet....still the same error message with Faild ID, verify internet connection...

What about Choqok? Does it work?

Ok, Choqok is another software for blogging and there is some configuration that i don't understand, do i choose Status Net or Twitter....i'm a bit lost here

I still have problems with the programs, Blogilo gives me this "Received invalid XML markup: unexpected character at 1:50" and i can not go further than that.

With Choqok i have 2 options, Status Net or Twitter, none are useful for me so what is the next step...

That depends on your definition of cloning a drive. Lot of people like Clonezilla.

Then there is Partition Image (partimage package) available in our repo, that clones only the actual data, (used blocks) not the empty space.

Do you know anything about the problems that i'm having with Bilgo and BlogTk, i can't use either one of them to post in my blog so for now i have to go back to Windows everytime i want to post, not really useful, i want to do it from pclinux

I don't do web sites or blogs, so really have no first hand experience with this sort of app. I would, however, guess there might be a configuration setting missing. You really weren't very specific about the error you mention. Unlike Windows errors, Linux errors are usually quite helpful in fixing the problem, so you should quote the exact errors you are getting and give details about when they appear, and what you did up to the moment they appear. A step by step sequence is best.

I copy pasted the error message in Google, at some point it says that it will do that if you use another blogging software for your site. OK, i use Live Writer but with Windows. I removed it and i'm back to Linux, tried Bilbo again, different error message which is: Received invalid XML markup: error occurred while parsing comment at 2:47

Tried it again: Received invalid XML markup: unexpected character at 1:50

I really would that program to work, i have to go back to Windows to use my blogging software that i now have to reinstall.

It's a little bit frustrating but hey, i'll keep trying and trying and trying....
