Authentication Method Installation Problem
« on: May 08, 2010, 09:00:36 PM »
I am installing 2010.1 and want to authenticate into a Windows NT4-type domain (Samba on CentOS, actually).

At the first boot, I set the root password, clicked on "Advanced," and selected "Windows Authentication."   A subsequent screen asks whether you have an Active Directory or NT4-type Domain.  I select "NT4" and the installer tells me that it needs to download an install certain packages, but apparently fails on one.  I get the error:

could not install nss_ldap package!

and kicks me back to the root password screen again.

Any ideas why this is happening?
