I can't believe how well and consistently the fonts render on PCLOS 2010. By far the best KDE experience - thanks!
My question is - what was tweaked to accomplish this - specially patched cairo/Xft/Freetype packages?
(I have in the past used custom fonts.conf files, set antialiasing and subpixel hinting in KControl etc etc, all that sort of thing but I was never able to get these results, esp in GTK+ apps like Firefox)
