Taskbar in Smooth Tasks...
« on: May 01, 2010, 09:32:00 AM »
Pardon me for my igorance, but where can I change the translucency of the taskbar, and change the colour of it?

I have seemingly looked everywhere...but the right place.

Sammy, go into "Configure Your Desktop/ Look and Feel/ Style" click on the "Workspace" tab at the top and pick "Glassified" and apply that.

It's not totally transparent but it's the closest thing I have found.

I think you are reading me wrong.  I want less transparency.

Remember in kde3 we could set how solid or see-through the taskbar was, plus whatever colour we wanted it.

This can still be done in kde4 right?  Maybe even a solid colour of sorts....

Ok, I took the regular AIR one, because it gives me a solid colour.  The default taskbar is too transparent for me.

This AIR is solid at least.  Though I would like it about thirty-or-so percent transparent... ;D

::)  Most of the time when this question is asked, the OP is looking for "more" transparency.  ;D

As long as you found it, that's what counts.

AND yes, I do believe this is the only way to control it without some hacks of some sort. Later.

Dang it.  So it's either 90% transparent, or solid.

C'est la vie...
