I have a PC with PCLOS 2009 installed (KDE3.5 and LXDE). My /home is in a separate partition. Can I keep this partition and all my documents in it or else I must format /home and restart from zero?. If i can keep /home what procedure should I follow in order to have no problems with the 2010 install? (I understand PCLOS uses different versions of the same packages and I may have some problems).

Thanks

baupres,

Here's some advice:  http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php/topic,71723.0.html

You can keep your kmail by backing up your .kde/share/apps/kmail/mail folder;  you can export your contacts and your calendars, and then copy your folders and files to a safe medium.

If it jams, force it.... if it breaks, ... it needed to be replaced anyway!!
